My practice was established in 1992 in Los Angeles, where I had the privilege of working and learning for 3 years from my father, who was a general and vascular surgeon. I never intended to stay in L.A., and transitioned down to Orange County in 1994 and 1995. Other than gaining valuable technical expertise and judgement, I learned the most important lesson of my career: Medicine is and should always be a profession, not a business.
The practice is primarily that of General Surgery, with a focus on Surgical Oncology, principally Breast, Liver and Pancreatic surgery.
We are involved with the "Center for Cancer Prevention and Treatment" at "St. Joseph Hospital" in Orange and participate in formal multidisciplinary care programs at the Center.
